MORE DETAILS ON THE EVENT

Forty-four (44) workshop participants from diverse functions in 23 organisations, including national, provincial and local government, parastatals, not for profit and for profit organisations, affirmed the continued relevance and value of the OS Network, and contributed to identifying its priorities to 2030.

Workshop 1 focused on the relaunch of the OS Network and auditing capacities and practices for monitoring, evaluation, reporting and learning. With valuable insights offered from a diverse group of professionals and organisations, the second workshop will share the draft report and feedback on the results of this audit and present initial proposals for developing a shared framework for monitoring, evaluation, reporting and learning and a programme of learning to support its implementation.

Workshop 2 will also focus on the conceptual development of initiatives to pursue the further objectives of the organisational strengthening outcome of the Implementation Plan to 2023 for the Biodiversity Human Capital Development Strategy.

We hope to host you for this workshop to collaboratively take this important body of work forward, towards the vision of a socially equitable and suitably skilled workforce for biodiversity.
